SKIN VEIL Foundation

I ordered the samples as I wanted to experience a few different shades for fair skin. I remember using this product in the past and noted great qualities about it. After spending more with a fanfare Japanese brand, I decided to try Ellis Faas Skin Veil Foundation again. This foundation is also made in Japan and costs less than the one I won’t mention. Even from a couple of swatches of color from the cute silvery packets, I could tell that I’m probably going back to this foundation for a mainstay. The texture is creamy and goes on smoothly over the skin. I ended up dispensing more than I should have but still had a natural look. This base can be built up for more coverage and not look like a mask. Your skin looks like skin but better. I used a foundation brush and a dampened sponge and tried two shades together. This base is a winner. I wish the brand would get more notoriety than it does, which is a shame as the packaging alone catches your eye and entices you to try the products.

The formula has a superb lightweight texture and skin-like consistency when spread with fingers or a brush, easy to build from light to medium coverage . It evens out my skin tone without much effort, and my highly sensitive skin hasn't broken out. I receive frequent compliments about my skin. This is one of the best foundations I have found.

Shade 12 WP is perfect for me in the winter, completely undetectable. I mix it with a Shade 13 in the summer, when I tan a bit, and again the combo is completely undetectable at the jaw line. Lovely texture to this foundation, creamy and spreads beautifully. Lasts all day, and adds a tiny bit of luminous glow, subtle, not glittery. I have used it for many years, and never found anything better!

Best foundation for every skin texture/ type! It's rich in pigments without being heavy on the skin. I use it a lot on brides and models for shootings because of its skin like finish. Also on mature skin it looks super nice. It's also nice for sensitive skin!

I am a75 year old woman and this foundation is amazing! Does not settle into lines and wrinkles and gives my skin a glass like look. I was ready to give up foundation before I found this. Don’t hesitate to try. It will not disappoint!!

I have been wearing skin veil foundation for at least 8 years. I’ve tried others but nothing compares to the coverage and weight of this foundation. Sometimes I’ll mix 2 colors for a sun-kissed look. You won’t be disappointed if you try this foundation.

The best foundation ever: the perfect shade, easy to apply (thin layer for day, heavier for night), doesn’t clog pores and, most importantly, doesn’t collect in creases. A friend recommended skin veil to me about fifteen years ago and I’ve been using it ever since :)

Smooth & silky, top quality!

I was recommended Skin Veil by a make-up artist - at nearly 60yo I am so happy with the fresh and smooth look it creates. Well worth the investment and having tried other higher end priced foundations, this is superior appearance, texture and lightness on the skin.

I’ve been using this foundation for 15 years. It’s the only one I’ve found that covers acne and discoloration. It goes on smooth and does not wrinkle, flake or dry your skin. It’s semi-moisturizing. One bottle lasts me 12 months. I live in New York City and it’s not easy to find here like it was in past years. I’m happy I can buy it here online. It’s the best!

honestly the best foundation I think I've ever used, and I have tried a lot! It looks very natural and stays on the face all day. It also doesn't really sit in the fine lines as most foundations seem to do. I'm very happy with it, I would give this 6 stars if I could

Perfect foundation for me. Silky smooth

I have been using this ever since a friend recommended it to me a few years ago. I love how it blends with my skin, other foundations always make me feel like I'm wearing a layer of makeup.

I love Skin Veil product, have been using it for a couple of years, since I was introduced to it at a Mecca store in Australia...would love to see it in the stores in NYC

Shade: S11NN. I've been using this for approx. 12-15 years and it's the best I've found. I have pale pink skin, with burst capillaries due to rosacea, and I am naturally quite dry rather than oily. Finding a pale shade, that isn't too yellow for my skin tone wasn't easy, but this is perfect. A lot of other brands seemed to dry out and go cakey after a few hours. I've worn this whilst living in 2 very different climates (Sydney and London) and it stays on all day and never goes oily or dry on my skin. It also doesn't crease into fine lines (I am 46) and I often get comments about how good my skin looks for my age and I think that is because I wear this foundation daily. The coverage is very good, and I don't need to use a lot of product even with my rosacea. I don't know how well this would sit on oily skin, but it's really good and natural looking on my skin.
